Don't worry, the ‘Disinformation Governance Board’ isn't going to be weaponized against American citizens; It's just going to make sure you're too scared to speak out against them in the first place.
With Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter, the Left finally exposed themselves as the partisan, undemocratic political hacks they truly are.
“Nothing was your own except the few cubic centimetres inside your skull. ” The first time I read those words it sent chills down my spine. To live in a world like George Orwell so brilliantly, yet so bone-chillingly, depicted in his novel “1984,” seemed to be nothing more than that, a depiction. A depiction of a world in which only the most sinister, dark minds could ever imagine. A depiction of a world in which the United States of America could never turn into. A depiction of a world we can continue to look to, to remind ourselves why we value freedom and personal choice over censorship and control. Yet here we stand, in the spring of 2022, now controlled by the party who spent the better part of the last five years claming former President Donald Trump was an authoritarian dictator, informing us that they have created a new department within the Department of Homeland Security; the “Disinformation Governance Board.” I guess they figured since the “ministry of truth” was already taken, they would have to settle for the second most ominous sounding name. But regardless of the name, this department is just that; a way for the government to control the “truth.” For years, the left has held a total, unchecked monopoly on all things media and social media. These companies are run by radical marxist leftists, are fully employed by radical marxist leftists, who in turn, through algorithms they set, promote their radical ideas and ideologies on users timelines, censoring any conservative opinions or ideas that may refute or disprove theirs. Back in 2018, Vox reported on employees of the media and tech industries, and their donations to midterm candidates by party. The ratio Democrat to Republican isn’t even close. Because of this, there hasn’t really been any reason for the government to step in and do their own censoring and moderating. Their friends in the media and tech industries have done, and continue to do it for them. From censoring incredibly damaging stories about Joe Biden and his son Hunter during the 2020 presidential campaign, (linked here, please do yourself a favor and read), to removing and banning the former President of the United States, it never really seemed as if there would be a threat to the media’s evergrowing, unelected, and unchecked power. Though this month, that all changed, and with that change, those who pretend to value the truth and transparencies true colors emerged. And it became obvious that the only truth and transparency they care about is the one that aligns with their ideologies and belief system.
That change, Elon Musk’s $44 billion purchase of Twitter. "Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated," Musk tweeted out after his bid was approved. But like clockwork, the same leftist political hacks, self-righteous celebrities, and all around hypocrictical garbage people that pretend to love and accept everyone, who on the daily claim they’re the ones fighting to keep our democracy alive and well, you guessed it, went into complete meltdown mode. (As they often do when things don’t go their way.) As the New York Post put it, “Out of the gate, it was incoherent fury, with no consensus motive.” With the flip of a switch, Elon Musk went from their climate savior superhero, and personal car dealer, to a racist, propaganda driven deplatforming machine, out to get anyone and everyone who’s ever disagreed with him or tweeted something mean about him. Even though he literally tweeted, “I hope that even my worst critics remain on Twitter, because that is what free speech means.” But as we’ve established, the truth isn’t too important to these people; and neither are the bedrock principles and foundations of our country. Journalist Jeff Jarvis compared the feeling on Twitter after Musk announced he’d be vying for the company as the, “last evening in a Berlin nightclub at the twilight of Weimar Germany.” In basic terms, the last night of freedom in Germany until the Nazi’s took reign. Ah, another Nazi comparison with absolutely no evidence to prove Elon as such. Good one, Jeff. “He got Twitter. I fear this free speech bid is going to help this hell platform reach its final form of totally lawless hate, bigotry, and misogyny." So in Jameela’s eyes, free speech is nothing more than racism, sexism, and hate. Because of this, she has vowed to leave the platform. “One good thing about Elon buying twitter is that I will *FINALLY* leave and stop being a complete menace to society on here. So it’s win win for you all really." I applaud her self-awareness.
The insults by these lame blue check marks haven’t stopped. And as the “holier-than-thou,” crowd continues to compete for the “who can say the most parsimonious thing about Elon award,” the arguments against him have become just a bit deranged. Axios, who claims in their “manifesto” to be an organization that will always produce “smarter, more efficient coverage of the topics shaping the fast-changing world,” that will, “never have an opinion section,” dedicated an entire piece to why they feel (opinion) Elon Musk is a “supervillain.” NPR declared that Musk is doing all of this to scratch his “imperialist” itch. Their evidence he’s an imperialist, the fact that he wants to explore Mars. And of course, Joy-Ann “pro-democracy,” (I belly laugh every time I read that) Reid had to put her two cents in as well, because what would a day in discourse be without her spewing her hatred everywhere. Reid, in all seriousness, claimed that Musk purchased Twitter because he missed the South African Apartheid regime, you guessed it, with absolutely no evidence to back her claim up. While most, myself included, can look at all these unhinged people and their unhinged tweets and laugh, it is important to remember how unhinged and insane it truly is. While many are trying mask their detest of free speech by claiming they’re just upset another rich guy used his money in a way he wanted to and not to pay off their hundred thousand dollar basket weaving degree, it’s clear this is not about Musk, or any other rich guy at all. Because let’s be honest, every media and tech company is already owned by rich guys. It’s about free speech, and Elon’s desire to guarantee freedom in political dissent.
Both Axios and the New York Times have published stories about how the freedom to speak is an, “untethered radical position.” The Washington Post is on record calling for “direct government intervention on speech platforms.” And even former President Obama, who in the same sentence claimed himself to be a free speech absolutist, tweeted out the need for, “some democratic oversight.” So here we sit, almost a week after Musk’s acquisition of Twitter, learning the federal government plans to do just that, oversee the “radical idea of untethered free speech.”
The creation of the Disinformation Governance Board was brought to the forefront during multiple congressional hearings this past week involving DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. One of the major aspects Mayorkas and the Department of Homeland Security claims that the Board will do, is “counter Russian cyber and election misinformation.” As we know, the Democrats have claimed that the only reason President Donald Trump got to the Oval Office was because Putin and the Kremlin helped him get there by interfering in the 2016 election, of course, with no evidence to prove those claims whatsoever. With total disregard for the truth, a special counsel was appointed, costing the taxpayers upwards of $32 million, to find out what many who don’t listen to the left-wing media already knew, that Russia did not help President Trump over the finish line. Though thanks to Special Prosecutor John Durham, we now know, “Hillary Clinton’s campaign paid tech experts to infiltrate his servers and spy on him, his presidential campaign and office of the president while he was commander in chief.” We also know that, “former CIA director John Brennan informed then-President Barack Obama about Clinton’s plot to manufacture a political narrative to attempt to tie Trump to Russia to detract from her email scandal,” declassified documents show. Yet still, with all this information out there, with numerous Clinton campaign officials now charged or indicted, President Joe Biden, and the Democrats continue to claim that Russia will interfere with the upcoming midterm elections this November, therefore, they feel, justifying this board. Actually claiming it will, “protect privacy, civil rights, and civil liberties.” How do you protect privacy by invading privacy… asking for a friend.
To make matters worse, the department will be led by Nina Jankowicz who declares herself to be a “diniformation expert.” Even though she got the The New York Post’s reporting about Hunter Biden’s laptop completely and one hundred percent wrong. Not only is she a complete political hack, but she has an extensive track record of spreading her own disinformation time and again, especially when she has the democratic party to protect. She promoted the Clinton-campaign-created Trump-Russia dossier. When the Post’s story on Hunter Biden’s laptop dropped, she told the Associated Press, “there are multiple red flags that raise doubts about their authenticity, including questions about whether the laptop actually belongs to Hunter Biden.” She is also on record telling the AP to treat the story as nothing more than a “product of the Trump campaign.” She referred to it as, “a [fairy] tale about a laptop repair shop,” and touted the report that claimed 50 former Natsec officials debunked the story as Russian disinformation. She tried to play everything that she tweeted off as just information she was gathering from numerous different sources, though forgetting to delete her tweet about the laptop story being a “kerfuffle,” and tweeting that the intelligence agencies “have a high degree of confidence that the Kremlin used proxies to push influence narratives, including misleading or unsubstantiated claims about President Biden. . . . A clear nod to the alleged Hunter laptop.” Even after the 50 natsec officials and their story was debunked. These are just some examples of her spreading disinformation in her professional capacity. This woman’s tik tok account is flooded with disturbing, and bizarre renditions of Mary Poppins’ “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,” where she sings about Fake News and the need to “take note” of the disinformation laundering going on. Here’s a snippet of the lyrics:
“Information laundering is really quite ferocious. It’s when a huckster takes some lies and makes them sound precocious, by saying them in Congress or a mainstream outlet, so disinformations origins are slightly less atrocious.” She also mumbles about how this helps to “hide a little lie.” Is this her confessing to all the lies she’s spread in the past?
Not only is this woman certifiable, she is also totally unserious. Numerous other clips of her have resurfaced where she is singing about needing to know who to, let’s just say, “please,” to get a job she wants, and singing about the human kind going insane and having to eradicate the crazy.
Bottom line, the creation of this department has nothing to do with cracking down on Russian disinformation, or misinformation at the border. The creation of this department has to do with the utter abhorrence the left has for any person or idea that does not directly align with them and theirs. The timing of the department proves it, the appointment of Jankowicz proves it, and the temper tantrum they all threw when it was clear that they no longer would be in charge of the political discourse on social media proves it. These people are the threat to democracy they are always warning us about. Take note.
